“I think we need a president who is a generational change and that’s why I’m supporting Barack Obama”

If you watch TV then I assume you are already in active support of Obama.  If you are on Facebook then I assume you already support Barack Obama since he has many times the amount of “friends” and probably “pokes” that McCain currently has and clearly that’s the most important factor so far in determining which president America should vote for: popularity, poise, personality.

Do we have to go over the many reasons why the media is heavily bias toward the leftist Democratic liberal?  I hope not, I hope you at least spot the bias even if you agree with it.

Anyway, it is not racist to say that ethnicity, culture, heritage, and skin color are some of the factors that go into how somebody looks at you.  It is racist to think negative things about someone BASED on those factors.  In that case I will freely disclose to you that Colin Powell is supporting Obama BECAUSE he is African American.  Once again, that statement is not racist.  Let’s get our terms correct here because it’s important that we see the events of this election and the surrounding context of the media clearly and with as much objectivity as possible.  I will give you as much time as you need to come up with one white, liberal, inexperienced political figure (much less presidential candidate) Powell has supported in the past.  He’s not liberal but he’s also never had the chance to support an African American presidential candidate and he’s literally jumping at the opportunity.

Even more, when it comes down to it I don’t blame him.  If I was classified in America (or any country) as a minority (and I have been for the record) and someone in my minority group was running for any official authority position I’d probably support him/her.  No doubt.  However, this needs to be said and known as not racist that Colin Powell supports Obama because Obama and Powell are both African American.  If you disagree with this, you are not familiar with Colin Powell’s politics and I suggest you read up on them before you decide whether to agree or disagree with this tough statement.

I think I might get some angry comments on this post…so I look forward to them!
